Shane graduated Duke University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2016. He then went on to work at NYU Langone Medical Center as a Research Technician investigating bone biology and regenerative medicine. He received the Chancellor's Global Health Scholarship at Robert Wood to promote capacity building around cervical cancer screening programs in low and middle-income countries. Shane hopes to pair his experience in engineering and entrepreneurship with his global health background to build sustainable health systems in resource constrained environments. When he is not working, you can find Shane fly fishing or snowboarding.
